Katie's aggressive-passive. Petie will tell you what she thinks real fast. Katie's blonde. So is Petie. Sometimes, we can be yin and yang, but most of the time we are two peas in a pod. We travel and work as a pack. :)
Here's 10 things about each of us:
Petie
1. I am a Scorpio through and through.
2. I didn't decide to become a teacher until I was a sophomore in college. I needed an elective and took a children's lit class. Walk Two Moons by Sharon Creech changed my life :)
3. I have an almost 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son who are silly, goofy, sweet and keep me on my toes every day.
4. I couldn't live for one second without my partner in crime.
5. I might have a pet obsession. There isn't anything I haven't had. Now I have two dogs and share custody with Kate of a black bear hamster named Pearl.
6. I am a closet photographer.
7. I live for anything creative and paint for therapy.
8. Oprah is my girl.
9. Humor is the only way I know how to make it.
10. Everybody has a story.
Katie
1. I am a fourth generation teacher. My mom, grandmother, grandfather, great-grandmother and great-grandfather were all teachers. My grandfather was a principal and eventually, my great-grandfather was a superintendent. I had no choice. :)
2. I live for cupcakes. All flavors. All kinds. Everywhere we travel, the first thing I look for is the cupcake store.
3. I have a six-year-old named Tucker and a toy poodle named Pocket. I'm not sure who is feistier or more well-behaved.
4. I have a problem with polka dots. I'd tattoo myself with them.
5. I got moved to 2nd grade three years ago after teaching 3rd and 5th grade. I was not happy about it, but I like it now. :) I still love upper grades though.
6. I couldn't be more awkward. I say weird things at the wrong time and always make weird faces in most pictures. It's genetic, isn't it Dad?
7. I played the clarinet in the marching band and Petie likes to use that against me.
8. I'm an only child. I can't fold a blanket with someone and I have horrible comebacks.
9. Change isn't my thing. But it's coming to me. And I like it.
10. Magic is my favorite word. :)
